After Our Story, LAUTECH Professor Azeem Ige Closes Reeking Poultry Farm in Residence

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Professor Azeem Ige has stopped running a putrid poultry farm at his Abaa residence in Ogbomoso North Local Government.

The professor, who is now the former Dean of Student Affairs (DSA), packed the farm away barely two months after PIJAlance, the PIJA Foundation’s journalism arm, published an investigation into the horrible odour of the farm. The investigation, published last July, noted that the professor’s consistently stinking poultry farm defies all odds and poses a potential risk of residents being exposed to infectious diseases.
